About the Founder

Quentin Harris is the visionary founder of Hybrid Focus Consulting, LLC (HFC), a dynamic consulting firm dedicated to partnering with non profits  and small businesses to cultivate rhythms that foster learning, growth, and sustainability. Quentin firmly believes that with a positive affirmation of self, anyone can achieve their aspirations.

At HFC, Quentin lends his expertise to clients by providing tailored professional development, strategic planning, and customized services designed to meet their unique needs. He is a steadfast advocate for growth, consistently coordinating volunteer efforts on behalf of Africa International House's Annual African Festival of Arts. Additionally, Quentin takes on the responsibility of orchestrating logistical and travel plans for humanitarian initiatives involving several partnering organizations in West Africa.

Currently, Quentin serves as the Elementary Program and Enrichment Services Manager for the Academy Group, a non-profit organization dedicated to empowering marginalized youth in the greater Chicagoland area. Since 2018, he has spearheaded three student-led marketing campaigns in collaboration with local business owners, including Chicago's top-rated and Black-owned establishment, Shawn Michelle's Homemade Ice Cream.

In 2022, Quentin played a pivotal role in the logistical planning of "Journey to Ghana," a transformative initiative featuring Chance the Rapper and Vic Mensa. This program brought eight Chicago high school graduates to Ghana for professional learning in the arts and cultural immersion.

In addition to his impactful work, Quentin is the co-founder of JQLR, LLC, a Chicago-based car-sharing business that consistently ranks as the highest in customer satisfaction. In his role as Chief Operating Officer, he has overseen the development of a diverse fleet comprising 25 vehicles, which have accommodated over 600 bookings annually.

Quentin's academic journey took him to Concordia University Chicago, where he earned a Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology and a Master's degree in Organizational Leadership. Early in his career, he obtained certification in Applied Behavior Analysis, enabling him to support diverse learners both in their homes and classrooms. Additionally, Harris holds a producer's license in the state of Illinois, granting him the ability to refer and write insurance policies and other financial products.

Drawing from his experience coaching basketball and track at various levels, from middle school to collegiate, Quentin deeply understands the significance of teamwork in achieving collective goals.

Beyond his professional pursuits, Quentin finds joy in exploring the world, having visited over 11 countries to date. He revels in basketball, camping adventures, gaming, reading, and proudly watches his son excel in karate and swimming. Quentin's favorite author, Robert Greene, continues to inspire his personal and professional growth.

Quentin's overarching goal is to establish HFC as a leading force in small business and non profit development. His mission encompasses leading nationally and internationally recognized impact campaigns while assisting community-facing no profits in multiplying their revenue and output.

Most recently, Quentin was selected to participate in AMPT Chicago's prestigious 2023 Executive Coaching Cohort, aligning his vision with organizations dedicated to strengthening Chicago's west and south sides. Furthermore, HFC's ongoing role in the 34th Annual African Festival of the Arts showcases Quentin's commitment to community engagement and excellence in logistical management.
